Scimitar F.1 807 NAS

The Scimitar was the last fighter produced by Supermarine. It entered service with the Royal Navy in 1957 as a Multi-Role Fighter, but was too large for many of the relatively small carriers in service at the time and landing accidents were common. It was armed with 4 x 30mm cannon and AGM-12 or AIM-9 missiles, or rockets and bombs.
