The British version of the AH-64D is made under licence by Westland. It has the same basic specification, but uses more powerful Rolls-Royce engines.
The Apache is armed with a 30mm cannon, which is linked to the gunner's helmet, meaning that he only has to look at a target, and the gun will swivel to that direction. It also carries a mixture of Hellfire missiles and Hydra rockets on the stub wings. Extra fuel tanks can be used instead for long-range missions.
