The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star was a jet trainer that saw wide ranging service with many countries around the world. It was in production from 1948 until 1959, and many still remain in service.
The T-33 was derived from the F80 fighter but with a longer fuselage to accommodate the second seat, and two guns (if fitted) instead of four.
The T-33 was armed in some versions with 2 x 12.7mm machine guns in the nose, and racks for bombs or rockets.
