The Lockheed F-117A 'Nighthawk' was the first aircraft to be built around the concept of Stealth Technology. It is not a fighter, but an 'Attack' aircraft, being able to carry 2,300 Kg of 'Smart Weapons' in it's internal bomb bay. All surfaces of the F-117A are as flat as possible, and designed to reflect radar transmissions away from the hostile radar, making detection extremely difficult. It is also coated with radar-absorbing paint which also reduces it's 'signature' and does not carry a radar, using Infrared for targeting instead.
